If you’re looking for a rustic, natural, intimate venue you can’t beat Fallen Tree Farm Bed and Breakfast in Carlisle, Pennsylvania. A 20-acre horse farm in historic Carlisle surrounded by a stone farmhouse it’s the very definition of peaceful. I was lucky enough to shoot a micro-wedding here, and the backdrop of stone and trees makes for the most amazing ceremony and portrait pictures.
The main house has a beautiful library room with its own en suite, fireplace, a sitting room, and of course tons of books. The house has a stunning staircase and a lovely dining room as well. The property itself has a total of four rooms and is beautiful, and walking along the trail was a personal highlight of the day. There are also perks like complimentary wifi, and plenty of parking. It’s the perfect mini-getaway if you love being surrounded by nature, or you’re thinking of having an intimate ceremony with just your closest friends and family. Their resident cat was also an amazing tour guide!
I can absolutely understand the appeal of hosting a wedding here – there’s a lovely patio for cocktails or a reception, and the ceremony space is beautiful. During vows you’re surrounded by stone and trees which makes for the most amazing, fresh, tranquil ceremony space. A simple arch adorns the front of the space, which you can leave plain or decorate with florals for a bit of personalization.
Whether you’re looking for a venue to host an intimate wedding, or perhaps an outdoor wedding shower, you simply must check out Fallen Tree Farm Bed and Breakfast – it’s unique, historic, rustic, and absolutely lovely.
